I've had a passion for creative woodworking since my childhood, having grown up in a post and beam home.

The creativity of the design and selection of each piece of wood has always been my inspiration. To carefully eye a slab of wood for a week, or a month, or a year before deciding its new form is truly where my passion lies.

Every tree has its own story, much like ourselves. While building up an outer shell to protect them from harsh environments, they develop a true beauty within. Each one is completely unique.

While mimicking a form or design can be achieved, the outcome will never be exactly duplicated due to the woods unique history and characteristics.

With 30 years of experience in the field, I incorporate both innovative, modern techniques and basic, primitive methods to achieve the final form that I initially envision for each piece.

Due to the availability of sizes and species of wood, I generally do not take special requests. However I invite you to send me a message with your custom ideas. If the wood is available, I am more than willing to work with you on your unique custom piece!
